As per email of Professor Ruhul Amin,for your kind information that from Bangladesh we 11 ( eleven ) presenters are going to participate ( on virtual ) as a speaker. 03 speakers in Bangladesh Session of Symposium, 02 oral presenters and 06 are EPoster presenters ( already done ). This information was declared in the meeting as well as over telephone several times. so Professor Ruhul Amin’s information was wrong ( previous information also). Techniques in Physiological Sciences (TIPS) workshop 2021 for SAARC nations |

Warm greetings from the organizing committee of TIPS 2021!
After successfully conducting the TIPS workshop for six consecutive years, we are happy to announce that the Department of Physiology, AIIMS, New Delhi is organizing the “Techniques in Physiological Sciences (TIPS) workshop 2021” for SAARC nations from 1 to 3, December 2021.
The aim of this workshop is to share with you state-of-art techniques with hands-on experience. We plan to provide three days of intensive training in the techniques chosen by you, hoping you could use the experience in your institutions effectively.
Who can apply: Those who are actively working in Physiology or related fields at an academic/research institute or medical college in SAARC nations will be eligible to apply for TIPS workshop 2021.
If you chose to attend this workshop, please visit the official website https://www.plexusmd.com/event/TIPS2021 where you can select up to three workshops of your choice that you would like to attend. The final program shall be made according to the workshops selected by the participants.

Assalamu alaikum. A virtual EC meeting of BSP was held on 23rd june 2021chaired by Prof. Rokeya Begum. At the begining we mourn Late prof. Md. Nazmul Haque & Assoc. Prof. Md. Monirul Abedin.
We discussed about SAAP-vii virtual Conference that was held from 23rd to 25th march, 2021. BSP was appreciated for highest participants & also in contribution of highest amount of registration fees. we are glad to inform you that Dr. Munira Shahnaj stood 2nd position in E- Poster presentation.We congratulate her.

6th Periodic Scientific seminar of Bangladesh Society of Physiologists (BSP)
The program was held on October 19th, 2019 at Bangladesh Institute of Child Health Auditorium, Dhaka. The program started with recitation from holy Quran. Chief guest was Professor Syed Shafi Ahmed ,director ,Dhaka shishu hospital, Dhaka. Special guest was Professor Farid Ahmed, Academic Director, Bangladesh Institute of Child Health ,Dhaka.
They were Oral presentation session and poster presentation session. Professor Naeem akhtar memorial award 2017 were also given.
Notice
A condolence meeting of Dr Nayeem Ahmed was held on 16th august 2019 at Physiology department of BSMMU, who died on 16th august due to a sudden cardiac arrest.
5th BSP National Convention & Annual General Meeting
5th National Convention & Annual General Meeting of BSP was held on March 1st, 2019, at auditorium of Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College, Dhaka. Chief Guest was Prof. Dr. Muhammad Zafor Iqbal, Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Shahjalal University of Science & Technology. Prof ABM Maksudul Alam, Principal, Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College, Dhaka. was special guest and Senior Eminent Physiologists Prof KM Fariduddin & Prof Mosharraf Hossain Molla was the guest of honor. The seminar was presided by Prof. Noorzahan Begum, president, BSP.
The theme of the scientific session was “Learn Physiology – Be a Good Physician”. Prof. Hossain Reza, Vice Chancellor, Khawaja Yunus Ali University, highlighted the importance of the theme topic in his keynote presentation.
Life time achievement award was given to renowned physiologist late Prof Abdul Hai. Prof Abdur Rahman Memorial Award & Prof. Nayeema Akhter Memorial Award was given to the highest scorer in 1st Prof MBBS & MD Physiology respectively.
There were presentation of scientific papers and posters. The seminar was attended by a large number of physiologists from different parts of Bangladesh.
